Hot days

The boys started making a cat play house. It is for a Boy Scout merit badge, family life.

We are having some hot days. Good for my little garden, bad for being outside. For a while even the pool got too hot! We left the blanket off for a couple days so it was not like swimming in a big bath tub, LOL.

Under Kitty

Juno loves to be under most everything. Thank goodness she has not figured out how to get under our sheets! I'm not sure with her claws I would like her in bed with us.

Graduation Day

Max made it through 5th grade! Yay!! The school had a nice little ceremony and cake after for the families. The festivities continued for the kids with games and a hot dog lunch. Good times were had by all.

Slackin

I have not posted for a while. Sorry about that.

Life is normal, kinda slow. The kids are getting out of school Friday. We don't have much planned this summer. The one thing the boys and I are doing is Boy Scout summer camp. We will be going the 3rd week in July. Max is excited as it is his first time at camp. It will also be my first time and I will be taking a swimming safety class. Now we will have two trained adults, for swimming, in our troop. Well I have to pass the test first ;)

The last couple of weeks we have been selling stuff on Craig's List. Even though it is slower then a garage sale I think I like it better. Well it's all in how you prefer to spend the time. A garage sale you have to put in a full day of mostly sitting and doing nothing in your garage. With Craig's List you can post your item then move freely about the house! It's great. We have found that you need to be at home and checking e-mail often but for a slow weekend it is perfect. So far we have sold 2 game systems, many video games, a pasta maker and a ton of Hot Wheel cars.

Last weekend John and the boys started a game of Decent (picture above). It was going well until Derek started coming down with a nasty cold that is still with him. He has not missed one day of school for at least this year, and I am thinking the last 3 years, and now with one week of school left he is missing two days.
