Burns Supper

What an awesome night. We had much laughter, haggis and cake. This year John's parents were here so the address to a haggis was extra special.

Visiters From Iowa

John's Parents are here on a visit from Iowa. They took Amtrak. So far we have gone to Napa and the Japanese Gardens. Hopefully today we will take a short trip to Half Moon Bay for a seafood lunch.

I lived through the hike!

Well I did it. I made it up Mission peak and back down. We climbed 1500 feet if I'm not mistaken, 8 miles in all. It was quite a hike. I went with Derek and his Boy Scout troop. We stopped at the top for lunch and a wee little nap (well I am the only one that napped, lol).

The next 2 days were spent taking Ibuprofen and wondering what the heck I was thinking going on a 8 mile hike.

Max is 10!!!!!! Can you believe it? We had a great party. We had pizza, a jumpy, ice cream cake and some Wii games.

Max loved all his gifts. He got a remote control helicopter, a stunt plane, havic cyclone plane, Deal-or-No Deal electronic game, gift card, book (Dewey), and Lego. We have a few more things to get with gift cards but that will have to wait a couple of days.

I wish I would have taken a picture of the kids teeth after eating the cake frosting! Some of it was neon pink and wow i swear they would glow in the dark, heh.

Ack what an ugly entry! Well at least i figured out how to get more then one picture per entry. :)
