Oops

It was a 5.6 not a 6.2 quake. It still shook us though:)

Earthquake

Last night around 8pm we had quite a shake. It was 6.2 and less then 10 miles from us. Nothing fell off the walls and the pictures are still in place but it scared the kids a bit.

Thunder!?

We are having thunder! Really we are. At first we thought maybe someone was bring in their trash bin. But then it happened twice more. Ohhhhhh there it goes again. Awsome.

Sad Night

We are all very sad tonight. Our pet guinea pig Pigpig died this evening. Even though sometimes we lamented having to clean his cage we loved him dearly. He was a good pig. One of the boys favorite games with him was Spy Pig. He never bit and always made happy pig noises when we fed and played with him.

New members of the family

Good morning everyone. I would like to introduce our newest family members. The gold on is Sebastian, Blacky is in of course black, Mo short for Mohawk, he has a strip of black down his back, and our two snails Gary (darker) and Jen. They all have there own little personality's. Blacky and Sebastian are good buds and like teasing the snails, Mo is a bit of a loner kinda staying to one area of the tank. Jen is a go getter often traveling the length of the tank to explore and find a good napping spot and Gary (Meow) is most often found on the sides of the tank.

Mixed up Day

Today started VERY badly. Last night i fell asleep on my stomach. When i woke up this morning i could not move my neck without being in a lot of pain. John messaged it for about 20 min. He is so sweet :) I rested a bit more and took ibuprofen. Because i can't lift anything or bend down without being in a great amount of pain John is doing most everything today. Isn't he sweet!! Everyone came with me to Trader Joe's to help me with shopping and lifting ;) On the down low, while i was taking back the cart, John and the boys decided to make October 13th MOMMY LOVE DAY. They told me about the new Pursey Family Holiday once i got back to the car. I must say I was almost moved to tears. What a thoughtful group of men and boys I have.

What a wonderful gift from my family. I am so very happy today.
