Well I did it. I made it up Mission peak and back down. We climbed 1500 feet if I'm not mistaken, 8 miles in all. It was quite a hike. I went with Derek and his Boy Scout troop. We stopped at the top for lunch and a wee little nap (well I am the only one that napped, lol).
The next 2 days were spent taking Ibuprofen and wondering what the heck I was thinking going on a 8 mile hike.
